Episode 1:

Mixed emotions is all I can say! We got to pick/meet our partners and get our team colours. I’m happy with my partner because we are working well as a team. I know I am not first or second but I am comfortable in the place that I am in!

Episode 2:

When I woke up my gut had a bad feeling but I am trying not to let it affect the challenge! Ultimately it was sad because Tanner and Eman had to go home, which made me really upset!! I am realizing that people are actually going home ☹ !

Journal Entry #3

Episode 3:

So we are starting our 3rd experience! We’re construction workers! I was super pumped. It’s an exciting job. We finished in 5th actually moving up in position! Green won and took the wrench and Purple came in second and got the prize. In the end, Red - Ashley and Ted were eliminated ☹. We are all really sad. Ted and Tanner are both gone! They were two of my best friends here! I am really sad Red team is gone but on the other hand I am happy because they were a strong team and it’s good that they are out, but it will be different without them!! ☹

Journal Entry #4

Episode 4:

What a day! Brad and I did well on the first job but on the next one we did not do well at all!! We had to mud balls, which is when you take the baseballs and put a very thin layer of mud around them. We ended up finishing last. Luckily the third job was the funnest job ever! I felt really good about it but I was super worried about Orange.

The race to the finish was crazy. I couldn’t see out the head of my costume at all but my instincts were good and I found the stairs right away. I was so happy to be in the top 2 for once! I was also really happy to have the wrench. And after all that there was a partner switch! The decision was pretty simple and now I am with Abs. YAY! I think we will work well together.

It is also Kelly’s birthday today! We got to eat sushi and tempura which I loved! And I had a real red velvet cupcake!

Journal Entry #5

Episode 5:

Yay! Loggers! I was so worried at first but now I am pumped! We did soooo good ☺. The first job was to do a double back and the second was the boom boat challenge, which was sooo much fun! Abs did so well and I was so proud of him! We got through it so fast, we were in first! I’m so happy! Unfortunately, I sent Purple home but they were a threat in the competition! I also got a prize and I am happy to be able to go home with one now!

Journal Entry #6

Episode 6:

Well first of all this is not my goodbye letter! YAY! Job #3 was super fun - saving the guy and all. Abs and I worked great together and ending up having the best time but we were still in last place which was bad and most hope was lost. When the race to the finish came, we ran around for a long time. Apparently Abs was acting and he the told Pink team he thought it was a different way to the finish line. I had no idea what was going on but we found the finish line and Pink didn’t have the shield so we are still here!

Episode 7:

Broadway performers! Going into job #2 I was confident! I knew what I was doing. Abs and I whipped through it fast but not fast enough. We were still in second place and that’s when Teal found the shield. For job #3 it was a performance, which I was excited about. We got the fan point which I was happy about but we were still in second place. When we ran up the stairs and crossed the finish line first it was an amazing feeling because we were expecting to go home! We picked the wrench because it will help us go farther. Then we found out we were going to be singles. YAY! Then Sam and Anna had to battle. I’m sooo happy that Anna is still here! But singles is coming which means competition is going to get good!

Episode 8:

Yay! I got 1st on the 1st singles challenge!!! I am super happy! The race to the finish was interesting. I got turned the wrong way and got totally lost! I wasted time trying to figure out which way I was facing and where to go when I finally figured it out. Crossing the finish line first was AMAZING! Picking was hard for me but I decided to give the wrench to someone else. Anyways, if I make it to the finale I want to make it there being me and not relying on the wrench or the shield. I’m upset about Talston leaving - he was the funny one of us all!

Episode 9:

Well maybe dreams do come true! Yes I am going to the finals! Anna is going home. I’m upset about it and I would rather her be in the finale with me! But, better her than me!

Episode 10:

Stunt Pilots YAY! In the end Sabrina, told us that Zach and I were tied! After that I had to jump back on the plane and do a loop and a humpty-dump right after. I had almost no time to think about what I was going to do. Once I got in the air I had only a couple of seconds to think then away I went! I was very worried and I did something wrong on my loop. I knew I was done with. Zach won ☹. This really makes me want to come back for the webisode!! Please play for me and bring me back! Overall I am really happy I got to come and visit all these cool places, meet new people, experience new things! And I made it all the way to the end, which is an accomplishment in itself.

Tips for Future Challengers:
1) Do something to stand out. Take a risk and do something that shows who you are and what you are.
2) Stay calm and confident.
3) Listen to everything! Everything people say can help you.
4) Trust your instincts.
5) Nervous is good! The more nervous you are the better you will do!
6) Remember who you are and why you are doing it!
7) Always work with your partners, even if you don’t always get along!
8) Remember that this is all a part of your big life! Even if you lose, you have the rest of your life a head of you!
